TP cards are processed by computerized methods:

1. they determine dactyloscopic information required to the identification
2. based on this information, they perform a comparison of the TP card sample with those of the lost persons.

Accuracy of the computer procedures is effected by image quality of the TP card images. Image quality standards have been developed by FBI to the enrollment of the TP cards. If these standards are met we can say about the TP card recordings that they would not effect negatively accuracy of the computer procedures.

Standards:

FBI inspects compliance to the standards and issues a Certificate on the equipment’s compliance to the FBI requirements.

TP card enrollment station of RECOWARE Kft. has all these FBI Certificates. TP cards enrolled by RECOWARE can be processed by any fingerprint identification system and their quality does not influence accuracy of the AFIS system.
