City police stations, NGOs, mayor’s offices, companies, etc. are supporting and encouraging parents and families to prepare TP cards of their children.
By today, TP card preparation became almost a movement in the United States. It is regrettable, but the USA is a “leader” in child loss statistics, both in absolute numbers and in proportions. Number of (reported) missing child cases exceed annually 800 thousand cases on average.
The European Union can “boast of” the loss of 250,000 children. These numbers are serious also because they have been resulted by a dramatic increase in the last 8 years. To take Ireland as an example, this number is almost tripled during 8 years (between 2001 and 2009 it increased from 2,900 to 8,400).
